Cornered by lusty beasts
Tortured to fulfill their sexy needs

What Life we need to lead?
Still we will not die,
we will fight back to survive.

Are we sex objects?
Are we entertainment tools?
Did we enter in to this treacherous profession, just to sell our flesh?

Prowling throughout the night
and walking street by street.

We are nothing but “living dead” with none to care.

People treat us like a social outcast / outlaw,
suffered often with abuse at the hands of their owners as well as their clients.

Oh…No…For them we are not the marrying kind
we are just to satisfy their filthy lust for some remunerations in kind

Society call us as whores, prostitutes, call girls & not as a women.
We are the civil servants of sex without any license or approval.
We are neither a wife nor a mistress to any one.

Police harassments, physical tortures, goondagiri,
and political mafia’s abuse of power to possess us at their will
are the order of the day.

Did we come to this profession with our own will & wish…

Yup…we are the victims of trafficking, gang rape,
discriminations, violence & poverty.

Some may boast prostitutions are an age old tradition …

Victims of sexual slavery and what not?

We are forced to bend and barter at their desires calls.

We don’t need to remain in this hell for ever
as ages fades our looks and with drained energy levels
and know pretty well we cannot live with deadly HIV for years.

Modern day’s exploitations of women & children in
 working places, tourist spots,
even at their own homes by those servants & relations
has become an order of the sexual lust & fantasy.

When will it stop?

For us there is no religion, regional borders, nationality, and identity.
We are so called destitute souls rubbishing the society…

What a disgrace & when we can see a new horizon?

Show us some human empathy if not sympathy.

Give us alternate employments like maids, chef, helpers, bearers, and errand jobs.

We do have a heart to share our emotions and a family to live.
Our illegitimate kids do need a better tomorrow…
We do have a longing to be a part of the society.

Is it not time to stop media & films portraying us as sexual objects of entertainments.
