My dear friends,
The petition filed by Nalini Murugan ( A life time convict in our late Prime Minister.Rajiv Gandhi Murder case) seeking her early release from Prison recently
(In her petition, Nalini challenged the Tamil Nadu Government Order, dated October 31, 2007, rejecting her request for premature release, and sought a direction from the court to the Union and State Governments to release her from prison as she had been in jail for the past 17 years.)
A counter petition filed by Dr.Subramanian Swamy against passing such orders by the court without his submission of arguments(In his petition, Dr Swamy contended that life sentence meant sentence for life and she could not seek premature release)
This case came up for hearing today before Justice. S.Nagamuthu.
It is to be noted that in spite of time given thrice for filing State & Central Governments to file their counter petition by the High Court of Madras, the State & Central Government Public Prosecutors requested more time and this extraordinary response to such an important case has invited ire from the annoyed Judge & granted the prosecutors a final chance to submit their counter on or before 11th July 2008.
It is surprising to note both State & Central Government is not yet taken any action in this case in spite of so much time given.
It is to be noted that our Priyanka Gandhi visited her recently at Vellore Jail and there were many speculations about this secret visit.
Let us wait and watch.

Karunanidho allowed this because of hius sympathy for nalini's EALEM cause.. He hopes that he could use priyanka's visit to get rpesidential clemency for Nalini.And priyanka played into this without knowing.
God knows whom he wants to blow up, using Nalini's nimble fingers!
